Catching up on "EJ" photos...

Well, it's been a little while since I've updated - life just seems so hectic, and Job #2 is supposed to be slower over the summer months!  Also, my camera broke right before my San Juan trip (UGH...the timing!), and now I'm using friends' camera, but even that is not really holding up well.  :[    So, I've had to take whatever pictures on my phone that I can recently, but #1 - there is a SUPER delay, so I often miss the funny things EJ does, #2 - takes a little bit to get them on my computer/blog from the phone, and #3 - bummer quality (as you'll see).  So, sorry for the bunch o' pictures, but it's all I can do for now!

Poor thing: forgot I had this on my phone: this is the little "gown" that they have for kiddos at the hospital.  EJ had to go to the hospital the night before I left for my trip and she was so miserable for so many hours.  Finally, at 2:30am, she agreed to eat an apple with me and it wasn't until 4am that they could relieve the pain (turned out she had a mass on her eardrum that was causing her TONS of pain...). 

First time in PIGTAILS!!  Sitting there sweetly, in her little jean jumper, "writing" at the table.  Precious to Mommy...

OK, a little old - she was a little bit fascinted by the Easter eggs opening up, especially once Mommy put Cheerios in them (I know, totally not fun, but after I saw the chaos with eating 5 jelly beans - and some hilarity! - we went to a more, uh, stable food!)...she was still thrilled, at least this year.  :)

LOVE this precious, sweet look on her face...kinda like our Mommy-&-EJ self-portrait...maybe 'cause I don't have many opportunities to get pics of us together.

Our first time to the Magic House (non-STLers: this HUGE, multi-level kids' museum with floors and floors of hands-on activities)...we barely made it through just a portion of it, and this Mommy was SO tired afterwards!  I've since convened with other moms who agree with me that you pretty much need 2 adults for 1 kid because of all the chaos that ensues.  :)

OK, honestly, SO glad we're past this stage...this is an encouragement to all you new parents out there (first timers or again-ers)!  Hang in there!

OH MY GOODNESS.  Really?  That's what I have to look forward to? (OK, only 435 more to go...)  :]

I LOVE my super silly girl!

OK, look closely at her face - you kinda had to be there for this one, but here goes: she insisted on putting on my vest, and then wanted it zipped...and then got annoyed because she couldn't walk in it.  Meanwhile, Mommy was laughing because she looks like a little, disgruntled troll!

Kitty & EJ snuggling on the bed while Mommy changes the sheets.  Wish someone could capture our mornings together on video - hilarious and precious, and Symba lets her do full-body pounes/tackles.

This was just this morning - Symba jumped into the pantry, behind all the food, and EJ went to investigate and was quite perplexed.

First time with a watering can...experimenting and trying to figure out how it works....

Yea...the water never quite made it to any of the plants, but we DID get her shoes watered quite a bit!  :)
